MHSA REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE REPORTS

The MHSA addresses a broad continuum of prevention, early intervention and service needs while providing funding for infrastructure, technology and training needs for the community mental health system. MHSA funds are distributed to counties by the State Controller’s Office on a monthly basis. Counties spend the funds consistent with their local MHSA plan, which is subject to a community planning process that includes community stakeholders and is approved by the Shasta County Board of Supervisors.

The Revenue and Expenditure Report is completed annually, per fiscal year, and contains an accounting of MHSA monies received (revenue) and how they were spent (expenditures).
